I am very grateful to have been raised as a child on endless acreage with a diversity of wildlife, roaming rivers, native forest, and abundant beauty. I believe I was always an artist -- as early as I can remember.

It was my mother and grandmother who taught me to become an entrepreneur. (Of course, my Dad helped too!) I started painting local windows for holidays when I was twelve. My sister Tracy and I had a little red wagon, some paints and brushes, a bar of soap for drawing with, and we were dropped off in town. We could make $500 in a weekend! I went on to earn a college degree in Fine Art and then went to work as a graphic artist in Seattle, Washington.

After that I moved back south to Grants Pass, Oregon and started a desktop publishing business, married, and started a family with my husband of seventeen years, Mark. We have two children Savannah and Max. I have since gone back to school and earned a Graduate Degree in Secondary Art Education among many other adventures along the way! We now live on 10 acres just outside of Ashland next to Emigrant Lake. I have been given so many gifts in this life ...and painting is just one of them that I would like to fully explore while I can.
