Brenda Hanin

As a professional artist, Brenda Hanin has sold her work privately, by commission, and in galleries. Brenda's emphasis has been in portraiture, figurative paintings and landscapes. She has lived in Southern California, Lake Tahoe and Colorado and has traveled extensively through Europe, the Far East and the Middle East, using her travels and experiences as the subjects for her work. Currently, Brenda lives in Ashland, Oregon with her husband Dan, where she is a professional portrait and landscape artist in addition to providing architectural renderings to architects, builders and homeowners.

"I endeavor to bring the essence of the subject to the observer through the composite use of color, light and texture. By using overtones and glazing to add light and richness to my works, I strive to evoke an emotional quality in the viewer."

Commissions: Brenda Hanin works with her clients on commissioned paintings. Brenda's experience allows her to use both live and photographed images as her subjects for portraits, landscapes, pet and wildlife compositions.
