Five Art & Soul Gallery artists have paintings accepted for the spring WSO show, to be held in Astoria in April 2020.

The Watercolor Society of Oregon (WSO) is in its 54th year of existence started in 1966 with 85 members and now boasts a membership of over 700.  WSO is committed to furthering the interest of water media in fine art.  The primary activity is holding the semi-annual Convention/juried show /and week long workshop by a nationally acclaimed juror.

The Spring Convention is rotated from location to location and is an Experimental Watermedia Exhibition; the Fall Convention will be held in Salem and is a Transparent Watercolor Exhibition.  Entries for the juried show are sent in digitally and the number of entries varies from 3-500 images of which 80 images are selected by the juror for the exhibition.  Twenty of these framed and matted paintings are then selected for awards.  Membership is open to residents of the state of Oregon.
