Fall Transparent Media Traveling Show

The Watercolor Society of Oregon (WSO) 50th Fall Transparent Media Traveling Show will be hosted by and on exhibit at the Art & Soul Gallery.
The exhibition opens on Thursday, December 1st and continues through the month of December.

Be sure to join the opening reception during the First Friday Gallery Walk, December 2nd from 5 – 8pm..

This collection of the 20 award-winning works was selected from the 80 works juried into WSO’s bi-annual Exhibitions by noted artist and juror Francesco Fontana. The Traveling Show tours Oregon for five months at various locations.

The WSO has a long tradition of featuring many of Oregon’s finest water media painters, working in a broad spectrum of styles from traditional themes to semi-abstract visions and from portraits to celebrations of nature. Each artist demonstrates an advanced faculty to interpret their subjects in dynamic compositions with highly personalized color palettes and brush strokes.

WSO is a statewide non-profit watercolor organization with over 900 members. The society is committed to furthering the interest of aqueous watermedia, which includes watercolor and acrylic paintings, by providing educational opportunities both for its members and others interested in the visual arts.
